Additional information

<21> This work, with experimental pyschologists, investigated young children's ability to reorientate themselves in an open environment. Due to the technology developed, this was the first time such work could be carried out in a real, as opposed to laboratory, environment. Indeed the results contradicted the standard laboratory experiments. The work was covered in popular science publication "Science Daily" (Feb 1, 2008 http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/01/080130092059.htm).
