<20> The paper investigates how we can transform dynamic visually interactive information into an auditory format without loss of cognition. This paper is significant because it details some of the first work into visual to auditory transformation without loss of understanding. We built tools and conducted empirical evaluations, with ethical approval, involving blind participants. The work led to Google follow-on research project funding, and an EPSRC Knowledge Transfer award with the BBC.
