Additional information

The paper presented the first technique for using a large number of micro/nano electromechanical sensors without contacts and readouts to each one of them. This allows an increase in the utilisation of the costly nanofabricated area by designing and building a large number of sensors on the same substrate. These results led to the IEEE Sensors Council’s early career achievement GOLD award in 2011. In addition, they also led to a visiting fellowship award and invited lecture at the University of Sydney, Australia.
