This investigation prompted several international groups to develop and test different numerical models to reproduce our results and to seek/initiate collaboration with the authors. These include Prof. Xiangyu Hu (MunichU), Dr. J. Hoepffner (UPMC-Univ Paris), and Prof. D. Lohse/Theo Driessen (Twente University). This also resulted in an invitation to deliver a plenary lecture at the Science of Inkjet and Printed Drops (2012) in London organised by the IOP which was attended by both scientists and industrialists. International media coverage included: Physics World, The Engineer, Physics Focus (APS-spotlighting exceptional research), Manufacturing Chemist, World.edu.
