Additional information

We developed high specific capacitance RuO2-graphene hybrid supercapacitors for potential energy storage applications. Using a combination of high surface area graphene support and RuO2 we were able to demonstrate the high capacitance and power, energy densities of the hybrid material. The hybrid also displayed excellent cycling ability and retained over 70% of starting capacitance of 650 Fg-1 over the 4000 cycles measured. The work has implications for the design of high power and energy density RuO2, graphene based architectures and can act as a key component in the energy storage and delivery systems.
