Additional information

Impact factor 5.6 and citations 7. Work demonstrated for the first time that a single dual-wave mode BAW sensor can be utilized to measure two variables (temperature and biosubstances) simultaneously with better accuracy, i.e. a self-temperature calibrated biosensor. This has led to the development of BAW sensors with capability to measure multi-variables simultaneously, greatly simplifying sensing procedure and electronic circuit, and enhancing the detection accuracy. A patent has been filed for the dual-mode BAW sensor (WO/2013/088163, PCT/GB2012/053139). This is one of outputs (15 journal papers and 12 invited talks) generated from an EPSRC project (EP/F06294X/1) initiated/coordinated by Luo.
