Impact factor 3.9 and citation 10. For the first time, this work demonstrated ultrahigh sensitive BAW resonators by using carbon nano-tube layers as the device electrodes. Such BAWs have the highest sensitivity among all label-free biosensors with a capability of sensing a single virus and multi-variable detection for accurate and precise diagnosis. This work is one of major outputs from an EPSRC funded consortium of three universities led by Luo. The work has raised great interest from academics and industry and led to further collaborations. The project has produced 14 high quality publications and 12 invited talks.
