Additional information

This first demonstration of laser doppler blood flow imaging using smart CMOS sensors led to a Technology Strategy Board project (Blood vessel imaging for phlebotomy and surgery (BVIPS) ref: TP/3/IMG/6/I/17068) with Moor Instruments (contact: huang@moor.co.uk (CEO)) . It was also noted as newsworthy by 2 of the leading optical societies resulting in invited publications in the SPIE Newsroom (30 October 2009, DOI: 10.1117/2.1200909.1815) and the OSA Optics and Photonics News 21:32-37 (2010)
