Additional information

This book draws on extensive empirical data to examine the links between Human Resource practices and organisational performance. Using empirical data from over 1000 in-depth interviews as part of a series of research projects between 1999 and 2007 the book develops a model which provides key insights into how and why HR practices can contribute to business performance. The model traces clear links between organisational culture, HR practices, the role of line managers in implementing these practices and employee attitudes and behaviours. The implications for theory development and management practice are discussed in detail.
