Significance of output:

This paper describes the theory and validation of a novel test technique, developed together by academics in Southampton University and Engineers at ARM, Cambridge. The paper findings have influenced the techniques ARM engineers employ to test low-power microprocessors. Contact Pete.Harrod@arm.com. This research has led recently to £450K of EPSRC funding, grant EP/K000810/1, 2013-2016 and won the IEEE Test Technology Technical Council E.J. McCluskey Doctoral Thesis Award at the 2011 European Test Symposium http://www.tttc-events.org/tttc_website/index.php?section=awards_doctoral_thesis.
