Additional information
Original “combinatorial” method for studying the effect of salt chemistry on atmospheric corrosion has provided the basis for an application for an EPSRC/NDA grant “In situ time-dependent characterisation of corrosion processes in nuclear waste storage and GDF environments” (EP/I036397/1). It also led to an NDA-supported project with AMEC “Development of Further Understanding of the Potential for Corrosion During Atmospheric Exposure of ILW Containers” (Dr Kevin Christie, Kevin.Christie@amec.com).
