Additional information
This research on phase change materials enables re-writable DVDs and future non-volatile memories to replace Flash memory. It has led to 3 invited talks at major conferences - Material Research Society (San-Francisco, April 2013), EPCOS (Switzerland, Sept 2011), ICANS (Toronto, Aug 2013) and an EC ICT-2011-8 project number 317746 ‘Pastry’ worth EUR350k to UCAM. The technology is being developed by Micron (Milan) via this EC project: Andrea Redaelli (ID_in_audit_file@micron.com).
