<22> In the long run, this contribution will have a significant impact in intelligent robotics in that its unified representation merges symbolic or qualitative functions and numerical sensing and control tasks. The proposed method has been implemented and validated in four applications including vision-based human motion analysis, hand gesture recognition, and advanced vehicle suspension control. The author has been invited to give tutorials and talks in leading international conferences including WCCI2010, FUZZ-IEEE2011, WCCI2012, etc.
