Additional information

Newly designed and fabricated electroacoustic portable modular sound sculpture (BoSS) - a continuation of my practice-led research into dialogic instruments and performance systems. This instrument was used in a series of performances and recordings in collaboration with a diverse group of internationally recognised performers, venues, festivals and curators that focus on the development of strategies for improvising with new technologies. Selected performances to date include: Call them Improvisors! at SARC, Belfast; E=MCH quartet, NIME2011, Oslo & Just Listening, Limerick; ABODE duo, Bbeyond’s Crossings: Performance Art Exchange, Catalyst Arts, Belfast; UCSD graduate workshop and performance; KZSU 'Day of Noise' Stanford University; Oakland Museum of California; Earl Meal, LA Arts Stream; Luggage Store New Music Series, San Francisco; Ambiguous Interactions networked installation and performance at Stanford University & NIME2012, University of Michigan; Blue Rinse at Mordon Tower, Newcastle; Photo Ballads at Bury Met & Belfast Festival at Queen's, Black Box. Collaborators include: Matt Ingalls, John Ingle, Mark Applebaum, Peter Whitehead, Chris Chafe, David Borgo, Matt Davingnon, Caroline Pugh, Ted Byrnes, Steve Davis, Han-earl Park, Richard Scott, Klaus Kürvers, Roy Carroll, Wolfgang Seidel, John Granzow, Edward Schocker & Thingamajigs collective, Evan Parker, and many others.
