Additional information

<12> This paper extends our PODC 2007 paper (not returned in RAE 2008). In search for more accurate models for geometric radio networks we considered bounded granularity as a new density measure in unit disk graphs. Our lower bound on radio broadcasting was further improved by Emek et al. (PODC 2008). The concept of bounded granularity was further explored by Fusco and Pelc in networks with inaccurate location information in Distributed Computing 2010, and more recently in the SINR model by Jurdzinski and Kowalski (DISC 2012) and in networks equipped with weak devices by Jurdzinski et al. (ICALP 2013).
