As well as being Principal Investigator for the grants that supported this 203,000-word edition, Roberts was responsible for text and footnotes to: prologues 58-115; 'Discours'; 'Predictions'; 'Bigarures'; 'Secrets' (pp. 379-593; 613-25; 637-47). He authored sections 2, 3.2, 3.4-3.4.2 of the Introduction (pp. 37-45; 55-60; 64-72), co-authored sections 1.2, 3.3 and 3.5 (pp. 25-36; 61-63; 72-77), and is responsible for the bibliography of Bruscambille's works (pp. 81-124). His major contribution to the notes to the 'Fantaisies' includes those to prologue 4 and most to 18-20 (pp. 167-71; 225-39). He co-authored all other parts of the critical apparatus (pp. 127-33; 651-812).
This requirement is waived for outputs submitted in UOA 28 (Modern Languages and Linguistics) if the output is produced in any of the languages within the remit of that UOA: that is, all Celtic, Slavonic, Germanic and Romance languages.
