Additional information

‘Foreign Matters’ is a practice-based body of work which explores, from a transnational perspective, notions of national and international identity, citizenship and belonging, through performance and subsequent publications. The body of work is concerned to research the individual and often times isolated lived experience of ‘foreignness’ and transform it into an affirmative, politically collectivist stand through collaborations with others, both in workshops, networks, public performances and events. This submission focuses on a particular performance 'Blood & Soil: we were always meant to meet...' alongside scholarly publications and artist talks which develop the notions of affirmative collectivist praxis within an international and transnational framework.
