English abstract

Syncretism provides dynamic coherence to competing world-views, scientific paradoxes and cultural practices. At the knowledge frontier, consciousness research calls for imaginative deployment of telematics, computing, chemistry, and older somatic practices. Our sense of Being and of Time is changing. Creative navigation of reality calls for technoetic development of the sensorium and the often excluded second-order senses. ‘iMeme’ refers to the multiple self, our generative and distributed personas, emerging in telematic society and in the evolution of consciousness. Citing Bohm, Grobstein, and Blofeld, that all matter is mind, the paper concludes that art has responsibility towards the creative unfolding of reality.
