Additional information

The monograph draws on Wells’ research which since 1992, has explored landscape practices in photography historically, and now, in North America, UK, Ireland and the Baltic. An AHRC small research grant enabled aspects of research relating to Nordic/Baltic archives and studio visits to be undertaken.

The methodology has been primarily that of the art/photo historian, curator and critic. It was written within a Humanities/Art Historical context and critical model. The project has been supported by the publisher I B Tauris.
