Additional information

<09>This work contributes to debunking the myth that code cloning is harmful because it requires more maintenance. It is thus recurrently cited by significant papers in the cloning literature, e.g. Juergens (ICSE 2009), de Wit (ICSM 2009), Göde (ICSE 2011), Bettenburg (SCP journal, 2012). The paper also provides a novel way of tracing similar methods over software versions, adopted by Mondal (ICPC 2013). (CORE conference ranking: A)
