Additional information

<20>This research affords numerous applications for diverse musical and therapeutic purposes and for silent learning. The work has led to the building and evaluation of a new system for silent passive study of rhythm (the Haptic iPod), whose data is currently being analysed. A journal article on this follow-on work will be submitted to the International Journal of Human Computer Interaction. In collaboration with Age UK we are investigating possible applications with sufferers from Parkinsons, Strokes and Alzheimers.
