<25> Led by Taylor and published in the leading simulation and modelling journal, this paper describes the SISO-STD-006-2010 “Standard for COTS Simulation Package Interoperability Reference Models”. This is a major outcome of standardisation work in high performance simulation which began with Taylor’s EPSRC GROUPSIM Network EPSRC (GR/N35304) and forms part of a REF 2014 Impact Case Study in High Performance Simulation that has led to annual cost savings in industry of several £100,000s.  The standard is being adopted by simulation companies worldwide.
