Additional information

This research was undertaken to inform stress analysts. Research reported in Part 1 of 2 is for a finite element modelling methodology that can determine the stiffness of adhesively lap-joints. It has an impact toward the design of vehicles after it had been developed in Part 2 to be commercially viable.
