A novel method for the parameterization of a li-ion cell model for EV/HEV control applications
This research was undertaken in collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), TATA Motors, Warwick University and Cranfield University through the AWM-EDRF funded Low Carbon Vehicle Technology Partnership. In collaboration with Imperial College and Coventry University, the model has subsequently been employed within a £2.5M EPSRC project (EP/I038586/1) to facilitate rapid development of new computer models for control applications – improving research efficiency and impact. The model has been employed by research teams (WMG, JLR, TATA) within the High Value Manufacturing Catapult, underpinning a performance evaluation tool for engineers investigating new battery design concepts.
