<30> An outcome of an EPSRC project, Grant No GR/R95326/0, PI: D. Petrovic (for Coventry University: £210,743), 2003 –2005, this research was assessed by EPSRC as ‘Tending to outstanding’ and the research quality as ‘Internationally leading’. Validated by Mr D Reddin, Supply Chain Manager, of the industrial collaborator, Denby Pottery Company Ltd, the research results improved the company’s scheduling practice and offered a new way of modelling their scheduling knowledge and experience. The research led to a new EPSRC funded project Grant No EP/C54952X/1, 2006-2009, PI: D.Petrovic, (for Coventry University: £215,736) on scheduling in health care, 2006 –2009.
