Additional information

<30> This paper proposes a new approach to modelling uncertainty in network covering problems. The approach is very useful in dealing with real-world covering problems, and in logistics problems, such as selecting locations for logistic centres and locating emergency service facilities such as fire stations and ambulances. This paper is an output of a continuous research collaboration with Mihajlo Pupin Institute in Serbia. This research has led to a new project, Sustainable Road Traffic Management and Toll Collection systems using new ICT technologies, TR36025, awarded to Mihajlo Pupin Institute by the Science of Republic of Serbia, 2011-2014: €250.000 per year.
