<22> In the paper we introduce an innovative approach to supporting the specification of quality criteria for non-traditional planning domains, such as those found in new media applications. This is realised through the development of a visual programming approach to the specification and subsequent exploration of plan dynamics. This approach is illustrated within an example interactive entertainment system (which was demonstrated publicly at ICAPS 2011). The approach is also generalizable to other application domains where traditional planning notions no longer apply. This work was funded by the European Commission under grant agreement IRIS (FP7-ICT-231824).
