Additional information

<21>Current standards and guidelines for user profile management, such as those of W3C and ETSI, are designed for static profiles which are only occasionally, and infrequently, updated. They are not suitable for the dynamic, rapidly changing, context dependent user preferences which are required in pervasive environments. The work described here creates important requirements for the Future Internet and led to Prof Taylor being invited to co-organise a session on Smart Infrastructures at

the Future Internet Assembly in Ghent (2010) with Galis (UCL) and Brunner (NEC).
