Additional information

The technique developed in this paper is the first that enabled the generation of of arbitrary order elements capable of capturing viscous layer on industrial geometric configuration and it was originally funded by an EPSRC platform grant. It has since attracted the attention of the computational fluid dynamics community members who are working on high order techniques. This development was recently utilised to provide appropriate meshes for the test cases specified by the EU funded project, IDEHOM, to be used for the validation of the various high order CFD codes,(Contact: Kurt Sermeus at Cassidian, Germany, kurt.sermeus@cassidian.com).
