<22>An earlier version of the paper was published in Interspeech 2010, which is the one of the two top international conferences on speech and language processing. This paper was selected by the Interspeech 2010 Technical Committee as the best paper in the area of Speech Enhancement, and the authors were invited to submit an expanded version for journal publication. The method was used by NTT (Japan) in their entry to the international Chime challenge (2011), in which they took first place. The work was funded by EPSRC EP/G001960/1.
