Additional information

Diblock copolymers have received considerable attention as the building blocks for self-assembly nanostructures for use in various technological sectors spanning from biotechnology to nanoelectronics. This paper describes for the first time a switch between two distinctive stages and provides the essential ingredients for the design of smart responsive nanostructures based on amphiphilic diblock copolymers. It has been influential in stimulating international research; Russia/Germany, DoI:10.1039/c2sm27135d; Czech Republic, DoI:10.1016/j.eurpolymj.2011.03.006 and USA, DoI:10.1021/ma1002112 and was included in recent reviews DoI:10.1002/marc.201100150 (journal), DoI:10.1007/12_2010_58 (book). It has initiated collaboration with chemists and has resulted in a recent co-authored publication (DoI:10.1039/c3sm27837a).
