Studying five UK urban rail Public-Private-Partnership transport projects has identifed three "softer" non-engineering risks as the key components of an Outline Business Case; disseminated in further international conference papers. This collaboration between the University of Leeds and the School of Management at Surrey continues. A research grant of £40k was awarded by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport to investigate controlling these risks.
