This work contributed towards an invited presentation at the 100-Year-Aachen-Fluid-Mechanics Workshop (June 2012) resulting in a EUR J MECH B-FLUID review article (40:17-29, 2013, http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.euromechflu.2013.01.001), currently (July 2013) it is the second most downloaded paper of the last 90 days.
