Additional information

This paper originated from a project funded by CICstart = £5000; and the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) = £48,787. The research spawned another similar project led by the lead author, to investigate similar issues in sheltered and mainstream flats funded by TSB = 62000; and four other similar projects led by colleagues at MEARU, also funded by TSB = total £???). The findings from the six projects have produced a body of knowledge on low energy housing that is of direct applicability to the global and UK housing industries; and in particular the social housing sector; and air tightness, air quality and MVHR installations in homes. The publication demonstrates collaboration with practitioners, academics and social housing providers.
