Additional information

This paper is one among many papers published in in collaboration with Ain Shams University in Egypt. This project is fully supported by the Egyptian government to help enhancing Vehicle Safety. This paper contributed significantly on optimizing offset collisions which still the main source of collision fatalities. The outcome of this work was used to investigate/enhance the influence VDCS on more sophisticated crash scenarios considering occupants safety as well. The outcome of this work has attracted potential partners in Europe to investigate it further as a potential direction of vehicle safety enhancement.
