Significance of output:

This paper presents an innovative and efficient method to map statistics through nonlinear transformations. The method is the backbone of an orbit determination and collision probabilities algorithm currently under development. The work has led to collaboration with Dr. Renato Zanetti (Group Leader Vehicle Dynamics & Control at Draper Laboratory, rzanetti@draper.com). Dinamica Srl has proposed this approach to perform sensitivity analyses in the frame of the ESA contract End-of-Life Disposal Concepts for Lagrange-Points and HEO Missions (200 k€ euro, technical officer Markus Landgraf, Markus.Landgraf@esa.int).
