Significance of output:

Initial work in the area of self-adaptive solid-lubricant nanostructured coating. We showed that combination of carbon matrix and MoSe2 self-lubricant phase could lead to excellent tribological results due to structural transformation during sliding process. It was for the first time when self-lubricant films based on transition metal dichalcogenides showed a very friction in combination with high wear resistance in humid air. The paper and related work was acknowledged by scientific community by 5 invited talks at major events in two years; the paper led to successful grant application (Czech Foundation Agency; P108-10-0218; 2010-13, 190 k£).
