Significance of output:

Significant output of EPSRC and industrially funded research involving academics from three disciplines (Computational engineering & Design, Signal Processing, Control). The key impact is the identification of appropriate design strategies (combining active and passive vibration control) to produce novel anti-vibration mountings that are highly effective yet low weight and cost. This work has provided competitive advantage for sponsors, Astrium, in the design of low noise satellite structures andy.kiley@astrium-space.com
