Additional information

This paper was presented at the International Council for Research and Innovation. The research project discussed in this paper shows that the critical success factors for implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) include having an overarching vision that includes staff participation and buy-in to delivering on the company’s CSR aspirations is central to success in this area. There is also emerging evidence that effective implementation of CSR can have significant impact in motivating, developing and retaining staff. Companies seeking to build marketplace trust and reputation must embed their CSR values throughout their business
