Following the publication of the 1st edition of this book, 'New Aspects of Quantity Surveying Practice' has become a required text in many undergraduate programmes in Quantity Surveying. The new edition updated the leading aspects of the practice of the profession and my chapter brought together research on both the assessment and procurement aspects of sustainability practice by a Quantity Surveyor. It is now part of the RICS' required reading list and is included in QS programmes in the UK and overseas.
