Articles addressing uncertainty in the meteorological measurements used to model solar PV energy yield are rare. Subsequent invitation to bid (as a REG partner) in the latest EMRP round to develop this (JRP G14 “PhotoClass” – led by PTB, Germany, Stefan.Winter@ptb.de). The work is being applied in the PV industry in the UK through Juwi Renewables (where the lead author is head of engineering UK, roy@juwi.co.uk) and via an E.On-funded £280k research project “Photovoltaic Performance in the UK” (Jeremy.Harrison@eon.com).
