Additional information

The described approach to non-linear compression of measurement data was instrumental in the successful EPSRC application to the 'Signal Processing for the Networked Battlefield' call. The research is relevant to WP1 of the £4.6M (FEC) Signal Processing Solutions for the Networked Battlespace project (EPSRC EP/K014307/1), where Prof. Parish is co-lead.
