Additional information

This research is the result of collaboration with Prof John McWhirter, FRS, Cardiff University, and presents the first polynomial matrix QR decomposition. It underpinned a major component of the successful £4.5M (FEC) bid to the EPSRC and the Defence Science and Technologies Laboratories for a five-year consortium project entitled “Signal Processing for the Networked Battlespace” which began in April 2013 (EP/K014307/1), led by Prof. Chambers, to aid in implementing the UK’s Defence Technology Strategy for the 21st Century which can be corroborated by Prof Andrew Baird, Technical Director, Dstl, Porton Down.
