Professor Clarke is a University of Southampton Honorary Professor. He is the UK lead in multinational clinical studies of Paediatric Hip disease and clinical collaborator of Bone and Joint research group in UoA1.

Professor Clarke published with UoA1 collaborators: Oreffo R, the effects growth factors on mesenchymal cells populating in vitro polymer scaffolds; Faust S, bone infections in children; Jackson AA, vitamin D deficiency in children. UoA 2 collaborator: Kendrick on hip dislocation in children. He also co-supervises PhD students with Faust.

Professor Curzen has a University of Southampton Honorary Chair. He has supervised 3 PhD and 3 DM students registered with the University. He is the principal supervisor for the DM students (co-supervised by Torrens and Hanson) and a co-supervisor with Prof Byrne and Prof Bressloff (UoA15) for the PhD students. Prof Curzen collaborates and has published 10 papers with UoS Faculty of Medicine staff including Hanson, Byrne, Calder, Torrens, Englyst, Shearman (all UoA1). Also he currently holds 2 grants as a co-applicant with BHF and has extensive unrestricted grants from Haemonetics, St Jude Medical & Medtronic.

Dr Edwards is a University of Southampton Honorary Reader and Associate Director NIHR Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility. He is a principle investigator in programme of research in inflammatory arthritis, exploring the quality of care delivered to individuals with RA in the UK, clinical trials of novel biological therapies and radiological studies of the consequences of inflammatory arthritis on the foot.

Dr Edwards has key collaborations with groups in the University of Southampton including Health Sciences, Engineering and the Faculty of Medicine. He has published with UoA 1 collaborators: Arden NK, management of RA; Cooper C management of rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis. He also co-supervises PhD students with Cooper.
