Additional information

Podolyak proposed the research, planned the experiment, and coordinated the work of the different experts, which made the experiment possible. The data were analysed by a Brighton PhD student (Denis Baclear), for whom Podolyak is the second supervisor. Podolyak led the interpretation of the results with inputs from theoretical calculations performed by Ricciardi and Schmidt (GSI, Germany). The paper was written by the first three authors: Denis Bacelar, Bruce and Podolyak.
