Additional information

The "author contribution" section at the end of the publication states that Murdin's contribution was in designing research and writing the paper. Murdin is the leading expert in THz transient dynamics among the authors: he originated the optical set-up and he was in the lab at Nieuwegein directing many of the experiments. Murdin’s leadership is evident by being the corresponding author.
