Internet-based Control Systems: Design and Applications
<15> The research monograph reports original work on Internet-based control systems design and was first funded by EPSRC (GR/R13371/01), Royal Society (RG041942), and then MoD (SSEI Task 4). The E-Book received a total of 920 chapter download requests in 2012. The series editor commented “the monograph is comprehensive in its coverage of control using the Internet…contains applied case studies of the concepts presented and ideas proposed by the author”. A paper in ICPRIME (2012) commented our virtual instruments approach “was flexible and responsible to the client side”. The work was extended to wireless and led to two TSB grants (TP/3/PIT/6/I/16993,£320k;CRD/131252,£150k).
