Additional information

<02> Histogram techniques are used ubiquitously in image processing devices and a wide range of media. A new formulation for the histogram algorithm is produced exposing more parallelisation. A novel quantum information encoding is introduced using the formal approach of data dependency analysis and shows how to synthesis a run-time dependency into a set of static dependencies leading to a family of solutions. From this unified design we show all former solution are special cases and produce the fastest design currently in the literature. A pipelined scalable design is given and tested showing faster throughput over all existing histogram architectures.
