The output (carbon emissions calculations data) from this paper has been used by McAuley, et al. (2013) in their research project at the School of Real Estate and Economics, Dublin Institute of Technology, Bolton Street, Dublin,Ireland (barrymcauley@gmail.com) to develop a Building Information Modelling in responding to Low Carbon Construction Innovations, a new paradigm for quantifying energy use in existing buildings.
