This is the final evaluation report published for Glasgow Housing Association (the largest social housing provider in Europe); Strathclyde Police; The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) and Scottish Government partners. The National Operations Manager for Secured by Design has noted: “With the publication of your work ... we could say with some degree of certainty that physical security has a significant impact upon criminality.” ACPO used the Evaluation evidence to inform their response to the current DCLG Housing Standards Review and its submission to the Scottish Government’s consultation on National Planning Framework 3 as part of Planning Reforms.
